If you created the lesson:
Users are able to make an exact clone of any lesson in which they have authorship rights. Just select Copy Lesson from the options menu and you will be taken to the lesson editor page for the new copy of the lesson. The title should say (copy) at the end. This feature allows you to make multiple version of the same lesson for different sections of a course, edit a lesson you have previously used, or differentiate learning within a group of students.
If the lesson was created by someone else:
There are several options if you would like to copy a lesson that has been shared with you by another author. The best way for Zaption Basic users to copy a lesson that has been shared with them is to ask the original author to post the lesson to the Zaption Gallery. Once the lesson is in the Gallery, you will be able to copy the lesson and share it with your own students. Learn more about how to post lessons to the Gallery in this Help Center article.
Zaption Pro users have another option. The original author can add you as an editor of the lesson in the Lesson Permissions. You will then be able to make your own copy of the shared lesson by selecting Copy Lesson from the options menu. More information can be found in this Help Center article.
In either case, once the lesson is copied and share, all of the viewer responses, or Analytics, will be collected in the new Author's account.
